| mconley | Nov 26, 2006 10:48pm | | Anybody have any suggestions for places to live near Fairborn? I'm going to start a new job there in January, and I need to find an apartment. Also, I could use some ideas on things to do in the whole Dayton area. |

(I live about 1/2 an hour away from Fairborn.) |

Somebody mentioned the aliens thing to me today. What's the deal? There's supposed to be a hangar with alien bodies or something? |

WP is home to the Air Force Research Labs. Supposedly, the Roswell Aliens were taken there for preservation and study. They did get the hangar right..Hangar 18 is a deep-freeze lab that's used to study the effect of extreme cold on flight materials...but I doubt there are any aliens there.
(Sorry to take so long to answer!!!) |

They call Yellow Springs "little Berkley" and going there is like stepping back in time. Its cool and different. Whatever you do don't move to Springfield, Ohio. I would look at Bevercreek or a small town in the area and commute to work. Fairborn is not a bad location, just not great, but it is better than Springfield. |
